CREATING YOUR BABY REGISTRY
Creating the Walmart Baby Registry is not hard to do. Go to the “Baby and Toddler” department and locate the button for “Baby Registry.” You can create your registry after putting in basic information, such as username, password, due date, and shipping address, to start adding products.
Download Walmart’s app. It’s free, and you can register through it. Go to “Services” in the toolbar at the bottom of the app. You’ll see a “Registry” category, and then you’ll see the option to “Create Your Baby Registry.” You need to type in the same information as for the site to create a new account.

Walmart has a huge variety of products, both online and in stores. The Walmart brand operates about 4500 stores across the country, which makes a Walmart baby registry convenient. One of the benefits of Walmart’s baby registry is getting a free welcome box and price matching, which adds to your savings.
THE DISADVANTAGES OF THE WALMART BABY REGISTRY
Walmart has low prices, but that’s about it. It doesn’t have the other benefits of other registries. There is no competition discount, a benefit that Amazon and other registries give moms-to-be to entice them to register.
Walmart also doesn’t offer a completion discount, meaning you won’t get any discounts on the remaining items on your baby registry as your due date approaches.
Walmart Baby Registry does not offer any gift wrapping options.

Getting Started with the Walmart Baby Registry
To get started, we created a baby registry on the Walmart app and on the Walmart website to get two different experiences. For convenience’s sake, we suggest you create an account and use both the app and website for your baby registry.
The Walmart site offers an “Inspiration” tab with baby age ranges during the first year and sections such as “Mom’s Top 40” and “Best of Gear.”
We love these helpful product lists because they allowed us to browse best sellers and age-appropriate products when we didn’t know where to start.
The Walmart Baby Registry website has a checklist that gives moms a basic idea of what to buy for baby’s first year. There are product suggestions for bathing, feeding, clothing, entertainment, and more. Many registries offer a checklist, but Walmart’s checklist was much less overwhelming than the others we’ve tried.
The app doesn’t have the inspiration tab or the checklist, but it’s still great to use as a companion to the site or all on its own if you want to add products anytime or anywhere.
What to Register for on the Walmart Baby Registry Checklist
Before you go ahead and create a baby registry list, knowing the items you need to put on your registry can help you choose which store to register with. Big items such as strollers and nursery furniture should appear on your registry and can be gotten from Walmart.
